With our newsletter highlighting many of ChemRite’s recent improvement projects you may be wondering, how does ChemRite accomplish all of these improvements in addition to their daily workflow? It is a team effort for sure. But managing all of the details and scheduling these facility enhancements is truly a job in itself. Leading the team on many of our recent projects is a very talented woman, Heather Lyon, ChemRite’s Project Manager.

Our facilities have recently received a face-lift through several remodeling and preventative maintenance projects. We have reinforced our roof, installed new gutters, downspouts, awnings and doors. A new storage room was also built at one of our warehouse facilities for long-term corporate records. All of these projects were accomplished as part of our continuous improvement program. This program aids us in adhering to a regular preventative maintenance schedule and provides a forum for discussing other facility improvements.

ChemRite has recently expanded its production capabilities with the purchase of several new mix kettles. Many of our customers have an increased need for assistance with pilot runs and new product launches. The large capacity of our existing mix tanks has proven to be challenging when smaller batch requirements are desired. So our management team went in search of the ideal small batch solution and was pleased to find three state-of-the-art 750 liter kettles.

As some of you may be aware, Patty Kramer, ChemRite’s Production Specialist, has moved off site. She is now living in Tennessee to be closer to friends and soak up the warmer weather.
